Liz
I have been teaching Zumba and Zumba Gold classes for 12 years, adding Silver Sneakers and other seasoned active adult classes, over the last few years. I hold certifications in Zumba, Zumba Gold, Silver Sneakers and group fitness training through the YMCA.
I absolutely love dancing and music! What sets me apart from other dance classes is my choice of music. It is because of my appreciation for all genres of music, that my classes reach across all age groups and musical tastes. I always strive for variety in all my classes. Tailoring my classes to the desires of my students assures me that they will get enjoyment out of the hour spent with me, whether it’s a song that brings back memories or reminds you of times with a loved one.
I love teaching in-person classes but switching to virtual does have its upside. I have been surprised and amazed at the participation in my online classes. It's been inspiring to be told how many people I have helped during this unprecedented time. It's exciting to know my live classes are attended by people from all over the world! To name just a few - we have regular dancers from Canada, Australia, Scotland, England, Sweden, Germany and of course all over the U.S.A. Thank you all for your wonderful support!
I currently reside in Harrisburg, North Carolina with my family and pet dog Wrigley (named after Wrigley Field), who has become famous with his appearances in some of my YouTube videos and live streams. When I am not preparing for classes (searching for songs, choreography and memorizing) or teaching, I enjoy gardening, being outdoors and at the beach.

- Selecting Stop Video from your zoom app can help with slow speeds.
- Switching to Speaker View and Full Screen will give best results. You can also pin my square
- If you can't hear me and everyone else can, please check all your speaker settings.
- If problems continue, best to close zoom and go back in.
NOTE: Please move as you are able. You may wish to consult with a doctor before starting any exercise activity. Drink plenty of water and don't push yourself.
